My Weekend!

Check out my new dog book my friends Jim and Holly gave me for my birthday. It's a hilarious "interactive" book that I want to read constantly! Too bad I already pulled the tail off of one of the dogs. Don't worry, Mommy fixed it good as new and I am no longer allowed to "read" this book alone!

Chillin' in the backseat on the way to park reading one of Mommy's books. I'll "read" anything that has pages! The other day Daddy was trying to entice me with a basketball and some golf clubs, but I chose to read the dictionary enstead. I guess i'm going to be a book worm! Don't worry Pops, I also LOVE sports, but school comes first!

We timed our Sunday afternoon perfectly. We made it to the park in time to play for about 45 minutes and it didn't start to rain until we were half way to the ice cream place!

This swinging thing is my new favorite activity! We're on a mission to get one installed in our yard so I don't have to go to the park to enjoy the breeze in my face.

I'm on top of the world!!!

Hey, how'd I get down here?!?

Coldstone has the best ice cream ever! We tried banana!

Mommy doesn't let me eat this stuff very often, but she justified it because it gave me good practice in using a spoon! I was even dipping into the bowl all by myself!

Here's my wonderful babysitter Norma! I love her so much and am going to miss her next year. But, it's OK because Mommy will get to be home with me more often! She found out she for sure will not be serving Central City schools next year and will be in GI. We're not sure exactly where yet, but we'll keep you posted!

Looks like you had a blast last weekend! Isn't swinging the best? I highly recommend getting your own swing for your backyard! I cannot wait to try Coldstone ice cream...Mama tells me it's amazing! :) ~Dax

What a great weekend, buddy! I haven't had Coldstone yet either, but my parents are completely obsessed with it. At least you had a fruit-based ice cream, right? We need to get together soon, buddy. By the way, tell your mom congrats. She's earned it!
